Hiring of 18 Ton Forklift and Payloader
Background
The service provider to provide 18T forklift and payloader for magnetite route 15 days
shut
Project Scope
1. Provide 18T forklift and the payloader with the drivers/operators
2. Shut period will be 15 days, 12 working hours per day (from 06h00 – 18h00)
3. Service provider will be responsible for the transportation of the operators on daily
bases (to and from Transnet premises) and report to technical supervisor daily at
06h00 am.
4. Service provider to provide fuel and other consumables for the machines, also be
responsible for the breakdown repairs/replacement of the equipment due to
breakdowns
5. Both machines to be used for changing of conveyor belts and housekeeping

Any deviation from this scope should be authorised by PRT management before work
can be carried out
